Medium offwhite coarse head. Slightly hazy amber body with carbonation. Light resiny hop aroma with notes of roastiness. Taste is bitter resiny hops with notes of tropical fruit and wood. Dry wooden aftertaste. Some chalk. Quite good. (0.33l bottle.)

Medium light brown head. Dark red body, barely translucent. Milky papery aroma with rubbery notes. Dry, sweet burnt coffee taste, very mild. Sugary notes. Aftertaste is dry caramel. Nice, but maybe a little too mild. (0.33l bottle.)

Clear deep golden color. This head, with a moderate aromatic nose of oranges and apples. The mouth has a soft mouth feel and is hop accented, which must be the British hops. The finish is aggressively bitter, this must be the American hops. Not bad

A Japanese Saison?? What is that. Oh, I guess cause it is made mainly from rice around the brewery. The result?? On draft at the Japanese Craft Beer Festival in Sept 06. Hands down people’s choice. Subtle enough to please the newbies, but somehow complex enough for the style to please the hardcore. Clear golden color, funky farmhouse character in the nose. Great depth and balance, with some hoppiness, but bready malts and hints of lemon balance things out. malty finish. A lots of hard to describe complexity going on here, but great stuff. The brewery keeps putting out more and more suprising stuff. I love it.
