Draught at the Brauhaus
Cloudy brown color; high carbonation level, hence a huge head. There is a dry aroma of caramel, and dust too. Lean body, with some dark caramel flavor, and once again a strong dusty character; no wheat indeed. The bitterness level is very low. Uninteresting.

Draught at the Brauhaus
Hazy blond color; high carbonation level, hence a huge head. The aroma is nice, delicate, hoppy, grassy, with fresh hay too; there is also a light lemony touch. The body is quite lean, there is a light malt flavor, with a very light biscuity tone; good bitterness level. A pleasant Pilsner, refreshing, but less interesting than their Helles.

5.6/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 6 Texture 4 Overall 5.5
Draught at the Brauhaus
Cloudy deep blond color; high carbonation level; big head. The aroma is dry, spicy, with a pleasant hoppy note, also earthy. The mouthfeel is quite dry and weak; wheat character, with spices and very light banana; moderate bitterness; there is again a earthy (almost manure) touch that is both uncommon in Weizen and unwanted. The final is weakly structured. Simple, and possibly flawed.

Draught at the Brauhaus
Dark brown color; high carbonation level, hence a huge head. Delicate aroma of caramel, a bit perfumy. Correct body strength; it has a dark caramel flavor, with some dusty tone; correct bitterness; the final shows more of the dark caramel / burnt sugar bitterness and dryness. Reasonably drinkable.

Cloudy amber color; compact head. There is some good malt aroma. The mouthfeel seems to be quite weak and dry; too high carbonation; just light malt flavor and some cereals; low bitterness. Not as good as i had a few months ago, just simple.

2010-07-18, draught at the Brauhaus, 8-4-7-4-15=38
Hazy golden color. The aroma of malt and hops is sublime, very grassy, a bit biscuity too. The body is lean, like all beers from this brewery; the malt flavor is light, but quite crispy; the bitterness is strong, and the hopping has undoubted qualities. The final is strong and long, even if some of the best characteristics of the crispy malt and noble hops are lost, in favor of a strong bitterness. Very pleasant.
