After borrowing other peoples breweries for some years, Beerhere had found quite a following of beer drinkers around the world, that enjoyed beer a little outside the normal styles, while still maintaining high drinkability and the omissions of too many silly ingredients and gimicky BS. So at a certain point it was time to build our own brewery on the island of Bornholm. We found an old fishing factory right on the harbour of a little fishing village and in the summer of 2015 our first beer was released. The brewery is shared with our other brand Penyllan, which focuses on wild fermentation and barrel aging.

On tap at Axiom, Brno. Orange brown with medium off white head. Malty, caramel, yeasty, sweetish. Not really a brown ale but a mess. Bland. Tastes like failed homebrew.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours nearly clear straw with stable white head. Clear aroma of hops, with fruity and estery touches. Bitter flavour of hops and citrus, with notes of roast and yeast and touches of malt and fruit. Bitter and citric aftertaste with estery touches. Decent.

Tap at Axiom. Thin body, high carbonation. Quite clean, med-light sourness, slightly lactic character, med-light rhubarb. Slightly minerally, salty. A nice gose feeling. Pretty good, easy drinking, refreshing.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours slightly hazy orangeish amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and brett, with fruity and malty touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with pronounced rough and acidic notes of brett and mild touches of malt and hints of fruit. Bretty and hoppy aftertaste. Decent. Well-balanced and rough.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, rye, barley, and a bit of fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of rye, straw, fruit, and barley, leading to a bitter finish.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours slightly hazy amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and rye malt, with bready and fruity touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with estery and grainy notes and touches of grass. Grainy and hoppy aftertaste with malty touches and acidic hints. Well, I may not be a great fan of this style, but this particular example is rather good. Well-balanced and with good bitterness.

Draft. A dark amber beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of candy sugar, dusty hops, over ripe fruits, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, over ripe fruit, and dusty hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours hazy dark copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and nuts, with mild touches of yeast and caramel. Bitter, hoppy, roasty and nutty flavour, with notes of yeast and touches of caramel malt. Bitter, roasty and estery aftertastebwith nutty touches. A really good brown ale.
