Bottle. Medium reddish brown, light brown head. Smells sweet, malty notes. Flavor is very sweet, a slightly nutty sugar bomb. Moderate complexity and decent depth, good caramel aftertaste, just too much remaining sugar for my taste.

Sensory Session #50: [Senatsbockanstich] clear, chestnut brown-reddish color and a nice tan head. Classic. Sweet caramel-malty nose. Not as sweet as the nose, malty and caramel with a nice bitter finish. Well balanced.

0,33 l bottle out of the mixed 6er. Cloudy darkest copper in the glass, small one finger pale beige head. Nutty caramel smell. Taste starts also with malt, caramell and nuts. Little bit fruity and some sweetness. Not as alcoholic as expected. Very low carbonation. Not bad.

Aus der Flasche beim Hamburger Senatsbock Anstich 2022-01 getrunken. Dieses dunkelbraune Bock startet mit kräftigen Karamell und Malznoten mit einer leichten Süße. Alles zusammen sehr ausgewogen. Ein tolles Bier. Mit der Zeit und etwas mehr Wärme kommt einer wunderschöne und sehr passende Birnennote in der Nase dazu was so richtig Spaß ins Glas bringt.

Bottle picked up from Craftbeer- shop (online shop), Parchim, Germany, had this sat in Frank camper at Lenggrieser mountain Camping Friday 27th January 2022 taking part in the live online tasting event. So this brewery was my least favourite last year and mmhhhh...guess what it's not setting the world alight this year. Pours dark brown, there is a little haze. Taste is sweet, dark brown sugar, maltiness and caramel dominate, very soft mouthfeel. Not bad but it's a little bit indistinct and lacking character, has a homebrew feel to it.
