Dark auburn with a frothy, beige head. Aroma full of caramel and licorice with red currant. Taste is less interesting, mildly sweet with a touch of bitterness at the back. Medium-bodied, dry, a bit of alcohol burn at the back. Simple, without the complexity of a top class bock.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass amber coloured, nice head. Spicy malty aroma. Starts strong, a bit alcoholic, some woody notes as well. Some spices, herbal honey. Finish with some light alcoholic notes. But quite drinkable for its strength. Nice!

0,5 l bottle from their booth at Fisch & Feines, Bremen. BB März 2024. Cloudy golden with a nearly two finger white foamy head in the glass. Some smooth caramel and grain on the nose, hints of bitter hop. Taste starts with bitter hop and caramel. But not a lot. Increasing grainy, mid bitterness, also in the aftertaste. Easy drinker. Okay.

0,5 l bottle purchased at the brewery booth at Fisch & Feines, Bremen. Dark amber in the glass, foamy one finger pale beige head. Looks really good. Toasted caramel aroma. Taste is mild raosted malt and caramel, increasing smooth grain, low fruity background. Below average carbonated. Nice dark malty aftertaste with some hop bitterness.
