Description
Heist opened its doors in 2012, as Charlotte’s only Craft Brewpub. Originally brewing on a 10HL German brewhouse, we have opened a 30 barrel production facility. Heist focuses on small batch beer ranging from traditional Belgian Table Beers, Saisons, to IPA's and Double IPA’s, to Porters and Imperial Stouts. Above all, Heist is an experience. Enjoy!

Month old pint can A: Clear bubbly pale gold with a short, quick head. S: Light toast, hay and a touch of honey. T: Mild hay and herb bitterness with dry toasty and tart fruity notes. Sweetness from the nose is absent. M: Clean and dry. Prickly carbonation gives a peppery aspect. O: Simple but tasty flavors. Light and very crushable.

3 week old pint can A: Clear pale gold with a short white head. Fair retention and spotty lace. S: Crackers and fresh baked bread along with faint hay, grass and a hint of pear. T: Mildly bitter, dry and fruity with apple or pear notes and crisp crackers. M: Stiffly carbonated, dry and clean with a fruity finish. O: A bit less sweet than I expected but otherwise a typical Helles. Very good.
