Description
Heist opened its doors in 2012, as Charlotte’s only Craft Brewpub. Originally brewing on a 10HL German brewhouse, we have opened a 30 barrel production facility. Heist focuses on small batch beer ranging from traditional Belgian Table Beers, Saisons, to IPA's and Double IPA’s, to Porters and Imperial Stouts. Above all, Heist is an experience. Enjoy!

Dark brown with a chocolate banana dessert aroma. Taste is not as coffee as a typical stout. Flavors of sweet chocolate and banana with a mild alcohol taste, a little toffee at the end. Easy to drink stout.

Can from Tavour. Pours gold with a decent white head. Aroma is mild Saaz with bready support. Near med body. Flavor seems a bit Kolsch - Saaz mixed with citrus and breadiness. Clean tho. Tastes good.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of cantaloupe, peach, bread, citrus peel, papaya. Pours murky orange-golden with a one+ finger cream-white head with excellent retention, leaving curtains of lace. Taste has a moderate pithy bitterness with some light honey sweetness alongside. Crisp, clean and refreshing. ABV hidden pretty well--tastes like it could be a normal strength IPA. Nice beer.

16oz can from friend (he received from Tavour). Solid DIPA - cloudy and mild citrus and smooth - expected more hop pop to it - but pretty decent
