Bottle from Hotel and Brewery in Jedlinka (Central Sudety Mountain) in 09.2023.

On tap at WBF 2025, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is dominated by the Islay barrel, with intense peat and I guess a strong malt base. Flavour is peated and sour for some reason, with tons of peated whiskey, sourness, and toasted malt. I like the peat but fuck off with the sourness. Seems wrong.

On tap at WBF 2025, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is kind of messed up, with sourness, whiskey barrels, and maybe diacetyl. Flavour is similar, with plenty of sour infection, maybe bitter, and some barrel. Wow, this is fucked on many levels. Bad.

On tap at WBF 2025, pours black, almost no head. Aroma is intense, with a smoky bourbon barrels, deep roast, vanillin, and a touch of cocoa. Flavour has a slight tartness, with deep wood, a touch of smokiness, vanillin, and booze. The slight tartness is odd but this is pretty well-made.

On tap at WBF 2025, pours a deep dark brown with an amber hue and a slam beige head. Aroma reveals deep sherry, alcohol, some wood, and a touch of vanilla. Flavour is intense, with tart berries, intense sherry, wood, and alcohol. Finishes bitter and tart. I prefer the bourbon one but both have inexplicably too much tartness.

On tap at Warsaw Beer Festival 2025. Pours very dark brown with a small beige head. Light whiskey and bready malts on the nose. Flavour has bready malts, some crusts, and boozy whiskey. Base porter is great and the whiskey barrels are very well-incorporated.

On tap at Warsaw Beer Festival 2025. Pours nearly black with a small beige head. Tons of dry peaty smoke on the nose. Flavour has tons of woody peat smoke, dry brown sugar, burnt toast; very boozy finish. Very intense peat, works decently well.

On tap at Warsaw Beer Festival 2025. Pours clear dark brown with a small tan head. Toffee, brown bread, raisins, and sherry barrels on the nose. Flavour has a ton of tart dried cherries and sherry barrels with the malts hiding more in the background. The sourness is really throwing this off for me.

On tap at Warsaw Beer Festival 2025. Pours clear dark brown. Toffee, brown sugar, cloves, and some bourbon on the nose. Flavour has a ton of boozy bourbon barrels up front, brown bread, burnt toffee. Finish is quite acrid. A bit harsh, but still good.
