On keg @ Cloisters on 15th June. Appearance - amber brown. Nice fluffy head. Nose - toffee and biscuits. Sweet malt note too. Taste - more malty biscuits. The toffee is there too but subtle. Palate - light to medium bodied. Dry crunchy middle section. Dry and fairly elegant finish. Overall - more of a bitter than a session ipa. But good.

Dark golden color with a fine off white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and an average carbonation level. Ok balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Fruity, malty, resinous and pine in the flavor. Decent and easy to drink.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Clear amber body with sediment floating beneath a medium off-white head. Steady carbonation. Aroma of cherry and golden syrup. Flavour of caramel and mandarin. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Rich and sweet. Possibly more of a Barley Wine than a DIPA.
