Bit unclear, golden colored, medium off white frothy head, nice lacing. Aroma is of malt, fruity and citrus moderate aroma. Taste is medium sweet malt, light caramel, moderate fruity and citrus, grapefruit hops, bit yeast, medium bitterness, dry finish. medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit oily. Decent. (on tap, Vrteska Belgrade)

Bottle, 330 ml from Gradi Plato - Piazza Epiro, Rome. Pours clear amber with medium off-white head. Malty, piney, fruity, sweet, resinous, long bitter finish. Medium+ bodied. Nice, maybe too much on the sweet side, but didn’t bother me that much.

Draft glass @ Moeder Lambic Original. Totally clear & very pale citrus beer with little disappearing white head. Nose is massively big on soap, overly heavy so, loads of dishwashing soap with a vague milky sourness. Taste is quite poor very heavy on dishwashing soap, artificial lemon, citrus, more cheap soup & vague spoiled milk sourness. Thin bodied & flimsy, thin soapy. Not a fan at all reminds me of Berliner Kindle (but it isn’t that bad) as well as some more attempts at making a more traditional Berliner Weisse. Traditional tasting or not I simply didn’t enjoy this.

Bottiglia @ Golosaria 2016, Milano. L’intensità olfattiva è normale e la persistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una discreta resistenza. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. L’aspetto del liquido è nebbioso, con ascesa di bollicine fini spinte da una carbonazione media. Il colore è di un giallo paglierino deciso. Il corpo è strutturato. L’amaro è deciso. L’intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. L’aroma in bocca è delicato, morbido, piacevole, erbaceo, leggermente floreale, speziato, pepato e terroso. La bocca riscontra sentori di liquirizia, frutta secca, luppolo, resina e fiori.

Bottle at La Tartana, Boccadasse, Genoa. Pours hazy gold/amber with a lasting creamy off white head. Aroma is good and hoppy, light fruit and caramel. Light sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture. Finish is dry with lasting bitterness. Very good!

On tap @Queen Makeda (Rome). Pours deep golden with a medium to little white head. Big sulfur aroma, light tangerine notes, disappointing. Flavour is better, quite balanced between sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, medium carbonation. So so.

Tap@Anspach & Hobday, London (28/08/2016) - golden pour with white head. Citrus fruity hoppy and malty aroma and taste, satsuma and lemon, some pine needles, grassy hoppy bitter finish. Nice.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brownto black with a small tan head. Aroma is liqourice and roasted malty. Dry malty, breadish and roasted. Dry, dark and bitter. Lingering dark malty far finish.
