Cask at Penderels Oak, Holborn 15 Nov 08. Golden colored. A small creamy tanned head. Sweet aroma of plums. Flavor is the same. Quite good - but not as a beer! Extremely sweet.

Half pint at JWD real ale festival 08. Almost naked, deep mahogany body. Vague smell of dark fruits. Prominent plums throughout. Quaffable, but gets rather too sweet [Capitol in Dundee, 07.11.2008].

Cask Conditioned at J.D. Wetherspoon - Penderel´s Oak, London
Amber color. It has the strange fruity aroma of many other generic fruit beers; the flavor is sweet, with light fruitness (ideed it doesn´t seem very real, mostly syrup) and an unpleasant saccharin feeling. Easy to drink because sweet (as a matter of fact the waitress told me it´s her favorite), but not good.
