Bottle from the S Market I guess. Drank by the Aura. Red-amber they say, I can’t verify as it was dark out. Yay. The taste and the aroma, however, I can say something about, if not much. Fine, full malty nose. Slightly fruity soft malty taste. Not unpleasant, just damn weak.

Bottled (from Prisma, Vaasa). Ruby colour, not much head. Aroma is grains, rubber and a bunch of roasted barley. Flavour is the same with an ashy bitterness to it. My question is why even bother to brew something like this.

Draught at the Uusi Apteekki, Turku. Misty golden with a small white head. Light malty nose. Almost Czech style grainy- rice crispies maltiness. Light bitterish hopiness, notes of apricot schnapps. Yeasty. Not bad, just not exciting.

(Draught at Milenka, Helsinki, as Nokian Tumma Vehnä, 20110919) The beer poured brown and almost clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had banana, roasted malts and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, caramell, banana and low bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and mildly bitter. Thin taste altogether and especially roasty flavours were very mild. Aroma promised more.

500ml can from Elisabeth. Cloudy golden, slowly fading white head. Perfumed aromas of peaches and apricot. Overripe banana flavour together with honey sweetness. Hints of butter. Lighter notes of spiced fruits towards the end. Flat in the mouth. Nice aroma, rather boring flavour (shared at a rating session in Tromsø, 22.08.2011).

500ml can, provided by Elisabeth. Hazy, golden body under a low, but steady, white head. Wheat fruity aroma with notes of grain. Taste of sweet wheaty fruits added by spicy touch. Short dry ending. Ok and drinkable (shared at a session in Tromsø, 22.08.2011).

Sampled from 33 cl bottle, 4.5% ABV, at the Dom metal club in Helsinki, which the beer is either specially made for, or had it labelled. All I could read from the label was "Day of Dom Beer Cerveza Nokian Panimo Oy"Sampled end of July, 2011Might be a label beer for Nokian Keisari Lager?Clear straw yellow color, small white head. Sweet, malty, corn scent. Faint sweet and malty taste. Medium mouthfeel, very low bitterness.

Can at Chriso Pre GBBF shindig 2011. Pale gold colour, haze. Lasting white head. It’s a not too bad lager. Rather drinkable I thought.
