Draught@Teerenpeli, Helsinki Golden colour, no head. Aroma is apples (both sour and rottenlike sweet). Flavour is dry apple juice with some rather sweetish wooden notes. Quite basic thing with no moment of excitement,

Draught@Teerenpeli, Helsinki. Dark opaque brown color, creamy steady espresso head, lace. Roasted, but also a bit sticky herbal nettle aroma (probably from NZ hops). Medium to full bodied. Crisp carbonation. Some licorice, roasted malts. For Finnish imperial stout this one has a strong cat piss hoppyness. Lingering hoppyness and toastyness in the aftertaste. This wasn’t instant hit for me, but Jatsijussi has more character than anyone Teerenpeli brew.

Draught. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, dark dry fruits and some fruityness. Flavour is dark dry fruits, some mildly roasted malts and smoked wood. Complex and quite nice. Not going to the extremes by any means.

(Draught at Teerenpeli Kamppi on 2009-01-16) Black. Medium sized and long lasting brown head. Roastedness and liquorice in nose. Full bodied and little bit oily palate with little carbonation. Roastedness, coffee, liquorice, some alcohol, bitterness and light sweetness in taste. Roastedness and bitterness in aftertaste. The best beer so far from this brewery.

courtesy of Cigarcitybrew. Another nice beer to come outr of the frozen steps of Suomi land. Pours a nice brownish clear with tan head. Aroma and taste are malty / hoppy with touch of fruits. A little on the weak side with a bitter hoppy finish.

Porter rating number 100. Pours dark brown with tan head. The aroma has muted notes of dusty dark fruitiness and brown sugar mixed with light spices. The taste has a thin frail feel bringing in some dark fruitiness followed by tarter fruit notes moving toward some acidity. Beyond the fruit notes is a background of earthiness.

Draught (Teerenpeli, Helsinki) - Brown with red tinges and a foamy head. Dry and malty aroma with a slightly fruity hint. Moderately bitter taste with some fruity hint and some roasted malt with a roasted and lightly hoppy finish. Not a traditional brown ale in my opinion but a good interpretation. It has the potential to be better though.
