Draught. Deep ruby colour, not much head. Aroma is roasted malts, some quite earthy notes as well as some hints of nuts. Flavour is roasted malts, some sour/cidic notes of fruit and old coffee. Also slight notes of some licorice. Tastes quite much like a sweet stout, but anyway, hides the 7 % well and is well drinkable.

Draught@Poirotti. Very dark brown, almost black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel, acidic coffee along with some licorice and red berries. Flavour is very much the same, mainly alcoholic sweetness along with some old coffee and plummyness. A rather sweet imperial stout, that pretty much lacked roasted notes completely.

Cask@Black Door. Slightly hazy orangeish golden colour with small white head. Aroma is fruity and grassy and fruity hops along with some wooden notes. Flavour is bigtime grassyness along with some flowery and fruity hops as well as some mild wooden hints. A pleasant hoppy brew which leaves a long grassy and flowery aftertaste.

Dark brown color, very small off-white head. Roasted, papery malty aroma. Full-bodied. Roasted, milk chocolaty and sweet porter. Toasted aftertaste. Kind of ok, but it is a bit too sweet for my liking - I don’t suppose that they were planning to brew sweet stout.

Draught at Kaisla, Helsinki- Copper coloured with a small head. Malty and slightly fruit aroma. Malty and well balanced refreshing taste with raisins featuring. Nicely balanced and nice to have a beer which is not a hophead’s dream!

Draught at Kaisla, Helsinki- Amber in colour with a small head. Hoppy aroma with peach and apricot with grapefruit also detected. Hoppy, bitter taste with grapefruit featuring. Nice and bitter and very refreshing. I am impressed.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of oh6gdx. Clear, orangey golden with a small off-white head. Light aroma of nuts and fruit. Light in body with a little caramel and some fruit. Dry finish with a light hop bitterness. 260208

[Bottle, Tasting @ Papsoe] Hazy amber with medium white head. Aroma has caramel and hops. Sweet flavor with caramel, hops and light cirtus notes.
