Iso-Kallan Panimo was founded in 2013 in the heart of the Finnish Lake region, in Kuopio.

Our Brewery produces beers, long drinks and lemonades. We get Inspiration for our products from the huzzle and buzzle of the world as well as the laid-back attitude of the Savo region.

If you find yourself in Kuopio, come and visit our store & taproom. During the summer we also have a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a fresh pint in the sun.

A dark brown beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has fruitness of banana, yeast, some dark breadyness. Taste has fruitness, banana, light spicyness and caramel. Medium+ bodied. Pretty ok.

0,4l on tap @ HopHaus Kuopio. Pours cloudy golden with a medium head. Aroma is malts with boiled vegetables. Flavor is malts, boiled vegetables, hops. Not clean at all. Shame.

0,33l bottle @ Bierstube. Pours clear deep copper with a low head. Aroma is sweet malts with some yeast esthers. Flavor is sweet malts, yeast esthers, hops. Decent.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 08/2024, from Alko, 20221103) The beer poured dark brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, chocolate, clove and caramel. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were chocolate, grass, clove, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, sweet, boozy and bitter. A nice malty brew with sweet and spicy notes. The alcohol wasn't hidden well enough.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy orange amber, small head. Dusty, fruity nose. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Fruity with wheat crackers and apples. Low bitterness. Sterile.

Amber colour, small white head. Aroma of honey and pepper. Medium-bodied. Belgian yeast, honey, spices, alcohol in the flavour. Tolerable Tripel. A bit rough.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear amber,mid sized head. Floral, leafy bread aroma. Dry with light body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Bready malt, mild floral hops. Mid bitter finish.
