Draft @ Pepper's, Bielefeld. Dark brown with shades of red and featuring a nice foamy white head. Aroma of malts, caramel and nuts. Taste follows aroma plus some honey and hops. Medium to strong carbonation. Thin body. Refreshing and easy drinking but I wonder why this Dunkel is marketed as a Stout.

On tap at Louisiana Frankfurt. A clear dark brown beer with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, sweet malty. Taste of mild roasted caramelish malt, red malt, some nuts.
