(Keg at Black Door, 20151019) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had coffee, burnt malts and chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, coffee, sweetness, creaminess, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was ashy and bitter. A nice stout but finished a bit too burnt.

Tap at Black Door, Helsinki. Colour is almost black with small brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Dark chocolate, harshness, roastiness, some sweet chocolate and roasted malts. Good drinkability. Easy stout. Needs little bit of more body.

Keg @ Black Door. Pours copper color with a creamy dense white head. Aroma has spicy bready notes, dark fruity, hoppy aroma. Flavor has caramel, strong bitterness, dark fruits and rye spiciness. Massive bitterness in finish. Balanced. Bit heavy, but well made anyhow.

Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of fresh juicy hops, grass, citrus, pine, resin, rye and caramely malts. Taste is smooth, hoppy and grassy with some mineraly notes, fruits, loads of pine, resin, citrus, hints of rye and caramely malts. Finish is crisp, malty, hoppy and caramely with some sweetish rye bready notes, pine, resin and lingering bitterness. Pretty heavy on the rye notes, but quite nicely hopped and bitter IPA.
