Bottle bought at the brewery. Final post-sauna lager in Oulu. Slightly opaque amber. Foamy white head soon disappears almost entirely. Aroma has big chewy doughy malts with caramel and a citrus edge. Flavourwise it got spice and citrus sourness over sweet malta. Although it also feels slightly watered down. Light-medium bodied. Watery to slick running. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice but feels a tad too light in terms of flavour.

Keg at Mallassauna, Oulu. A murky slightly opaque chestnut brown. Thin beige head retreats to the rim. Aroma has coffee, tar. Berries. Slightly sweet edge. Flavourwise it got a Light-medium bitterness with a slightly spurnedge and some sweetness in the mix. Tar and berries. But watered down. Light-medium bodied. Slick to creamy..Soft-average carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Smells good but then a bit weak.

Keg at Mallassauna, Oulu. Clear copper gold. Thick foamy white head. Aroma has sweet caramel with a grainy edge and underlying malts. Flavourwise it's rather sweet. Carmal and doughy nalts. A vague hint of peripheral bitterness. Light. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Just didn't do it for me. Too sweet.

Keg at Mallassauna. Clear light gold. Thick delicate foamy white head. Aroma is malty with a bitter tang. Light-medium citrus over a l9ght malt base. Slightly sweet. And a slightly bitter edge. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation adds lift. Alright light stuff.

Bottle bought at the brewery which is apparently one of the only places you can pick it up. Opaque amber. Thin frothy foamy translucent white head. Aroma is malty, slightly grainy, and has a citrus edge. Flavourwise it's got a itter core - woody, grainy, and citrus edge. Slight hint of damp socks. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. XXXShow this beer some respect, Hailuoto represents, mutha!XXX

Bottle at Cafe Helmi, Marjaniemi, Hailoluoto. Hazy-opaque amber. Fluffy foamy white head. Aroma is malty with a bitter edge. Flavourwise it's bitter. Quinine. Underlying sweet malts and a hint of sweaty socks. Peppery. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. As far as AF lager goes this is pretty good.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Clear deep golden, lively head. Light smokey ash and citrus up front. Mid sweet with light to thin body and clean mouthfeel. Ashy bread and mild spicy grapefruit. Resinous bitter finish with a metallic edge.
