26-02-19 // tasting flight at the brewpub Neulich Unclear murkish brown. Small light beige head. Nose has a minimal sourish malt touch. But none of this in taste. Full bodied, smooth and creamy. Coffee aromas. Especially in the aftertaste. Low hop bitterness. But a subtle roasted malt bitterness. Nice one.

33cl bottle. A clear pale golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of grainy malt, pale malt, straw, soft spicy hops. Taste of moderate dry grainy malt, straw, pale malt, hay, moderate spicy hops. Boring!

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, yellow colour with a blond and firm mid-sized foamy head. Initially slightly dusty aroma with citric hops and mildly grainy malt. Slightly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly sharp carbonation. Grainy malty base with a moderate hops character with notes of citrus and a whiff of grass; dry and slightly chalky finish, mildly hop bitter with a citric tail. Okay. 22.IX.18

"Neulich Summer Ale", frische Flasche (33 cl, MHD: 12/18) von Getränkefeinkost Berlin. - Helles Goldgelb, leicht trüb. - In der Nase sehr aromatische frische Zitrusfrucht (Zitronenöl) mit zart kellerig-muffiger Note über mild karamelligem Malz. - Antrunk schlank und elegant zitronig-hopfenherb mit schöner grasiger Bittere. Zarte helle Malzsüße, leichtes Karamelmalz, milde obergärige Hefe. Schlank und spritzig aber nicht dünn. Gut zitronig-hopfenherber Abgang. - Aromatisch aber nicht übertrieben gehopftes, schlankes und süffiges Sommerbier. Sehr angenehm.
