Description
Bierbrouwerij Sint Servattumus in Schijndel is a traditional brewery, specialized in brewing special (regional) beers.

Started in 1992 as a hobby, Sint Servattumus has now grown into a fully-fledged traditional brewery where brewing is still done with real Schijndel hops!

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear amber golden with tiny floating impurities and an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt and burned caramel. Quite full-bodied, sweet caramel and pumpernickel. Warming alcoholic finish. 040409

Bottle, 7.5%. Hazy chestnut colour. Very small head. The flavour has a good maltiness with some spice. Sweet spices, a bit of cookie. The peppery aftertaste balances the sweetness OK.

Bottle, 7.5%. Distinct baking yeast aroma. Hazy brown colour. Small head. The flavour is very malty, slightly spicy, probably from the hops. Distinct baking yeast flavour, reminding me of homebrew. Would have been good without the yeast.

Bottle, 7.5%. Very weak raisin aroma. Hazy dark brown colour. The flavour starts off citric, turns malty and then slightly metallic. A little sweet with a rough malt finish.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty yeasty aroma with some spicy hints. Sweetish spicy malty caramel flavor with some yeasty hints. Has a spicy yeasty malty finish

33 cL bottle. Gusher. Pours murky brown to orange with a small, fizzy and off-white head. Overcarbonated mouthfeel. Solid phenolic, roasted malt and light spiced aroma. Sweet malt flavoured, light roasted, yeasty and phenolic. Light phenolic and alcohol bite into the far finish.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours clear and golden deep orange to hazzlenut brown with a fully gone head. Spiced and malty aroma. Sweet malty, light roasted and vague yeasty. Smooth malty and crisp carbonation mouthfeel in the finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small tan head. Light spice dhoppy aroma to a sweet roasted caramel malt base. Sweet malt flavoured with a nice bitter counterbalance. Sweet finish, light phenolic and alcohol warmth too.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small light tan head. Mild chocolate and slight roasted malty base flavour. Hoppy and light spiced base flavour with a light bitterness coming through. Vague acidic note to a nice malty, caramel and slight chocolate base note into a light dry and acidic finish.

Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.
