330ml bottle found on Uoleva Island in Tonga. Smells of nice sweet apple, white wine hints. Has a soft gold body with little foam. Flavour is nice apple, white wine notes again, soft vinegar character. Mouthfeel is crisp and full. This is a very nice cider, well crafted, surprisingly good.

Initial rating as a bottle found on Uoleva Island in Tonga - smells of big brett yeast and some sweet grain, has a lighter copper body and soft foam gone fact. Flavour is sour yeast notes with a hint of grain. Mouthfeel is a little watery. It's unique, too yeasty for lager, more like a Belgian ale. Re-rate in Nuku'alofa on tap at Friends cafe: much better, nicer yellow body and good foam, sweet lager notes and no pungent yeastiness. Smooth lager flavours, good hops. Full on the mouth. Maybe I got a skunked bottle the first time around, the version on tap is superior and also a very nice lager.

Smells of nice sweet hops with hints of caramel, has a good medium brown body with modest white foam. Flavour is a good malt and hop balance, sweet and oily in all the right places. Mouthfeel is crisp, good carbonation. This is decent, a mile ahead of the local pale lagers.

Many thanks for this beer to Erzengel. Pours a clear yellow color. Malty, grainy. Similar taste, grainy with an ugly grassy bitterness.

27/1/2019. Bottle courtesy of Manslow, huge thanks for bringing this back from Tonga for me. My country #189. Pours pale gold with a bubbly lasting off-white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, tropical fruit, malt, caramel, grass and floral notes. Medium plus sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Sweet, fruity finish. A pretty decent beer as well as a great country tick.
