Draught @ Fairbar. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, little coffee, sweet chocolate, chocolate sauce. Flavor is sweet, malty, sweet chocolate, cheap chocolate - light artificial. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish. 060620

Bottle bought in Copenhagen 2009 or 2010. Black with a small tan head. Smooth with chocolate, some dark malt, dark fruit and notes of oak. Very well hidden alcohol. Still a pleasant one although 10 years old.

(Bottle) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with big frothy off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with apricots, mango, orange peel, flowers and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of apricots, orange peel, marmalade, mango, some caramel, flowers, pine needles and a generous piny, floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh, tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 20.12.2020, from Pikkulintu, 20200512) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, molasses, malts and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A too sweet malty brew with good looks and pleasant aroma.

Draft. An amber beer with a white head. The aroma has noets of exotic fruits, lemons, hops, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of exotic fruits, lemons, hops, pine needles, caramel, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, deep reddish amber with a creamy and lacing off-white head. Sweet, malty nose with some brown sugar. Rich, sweet, malty body, some aromatic hops but also a slight, phenollic edge. Some late bittering hops. Odd, lurking tartness. 300420

Well stored bottle. Pitch black body with a dense beige head. Aroma has dark malt and alcohol. Taste is hard roasted, dark malt, some coffee and dark chocolate, boozy. Fine body and strong in aftertaste. Without doubt some qualities here, but just too much alcohol to make it elegant, after several years in my cellar it still feels a bit raw and boozy.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel and licorice aroma. Roasted malty licorice and caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel and licorice finish.

Tap @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Poured pretty much black in color with a tan had. Loads and loads of sweet chocolate in aroma and flavor. Caramel, sweetness, cocoa and chocolate. Way too sweet for me.
