Århus2008. From tap. Pours hazy and dark brown with a lacing off white head. Dry smoked aroma with a minor meady note. Flavour is dry smoked with a light citric note and light sweetness following. Ends with a light sweetness and lingering smoked note.

Århus2008. Only beer from bottle, and a clean one. Pours clear golden orange with a lacing white head. Dry caramel malt in the initial aroma. Light dry hops aroma. Flavour is dry hoppy and with a nicely balanced caramel malt base. Almost no sweetness. Ends dry and hoppy. Although I was told a couple of weeks more maturation was desired - this was nice!

Århus2008. From tap, came as Hornbeer Hornbock. Pours hazy deep orange with a lacing white head. Light bacon and smoked aroma. Light meady and mild smoked initial flavour. Light sweetness and light alcohol note showing through. Delicate smoke note into the finish. Seems light to mild watery in the finish lacking some body to compliment the flavours or it is just the effect of the smoke that takes out the bock-ishness.

Århus2008. From tap. Pours hazy orange with a huge tan head. Light citric wheat aroma with a mild roasted malt note. Flavour is mild malty with a solid breadish note and a mild creamy wheat flavour and mouthfeel. Light spiced finish. Not bad, but the wheat beers are obviously weaker than the hoppy beers.

Draught at Aarhus Festival. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma, not very fruity. Moderate bitter flavor. Oily palate. A little boring.
