Light body with flavors of brett yeast, herbal hops and malt. The finish is mildly funky with a brett and hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Light to medium body with flavors of roast malt, dark chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is creamy with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Light to medium body with flavors of slightly funky fruit, herbal hops and roasted malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft. Golden body with a frothy white head, mostly diminishing. Light aroma of toasted grain, floral hops, light wet straw. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. On the sweet side, but clean malts and crisp carbonation.

Draft at Gambrinus. Pours a deep chestnut brown with a finger of beige head. Light banana, caramel and bacon aromas. Smoked prosciutto on on palate with some honey. Medium bitterness. Really smooth and good flavors thoughout. One of the better Monnik beers.

Tap at Gambrinus. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Light lemongrass and ginger aromas. Spritzy with some mineral water notes, but pretty watered down. Light and quaffable though. Faint lingering ginger on the finish, but muted.
