Opaque colour, mostly vanishing head. Ashy toasted aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Toasted, ashy flavour, touch of chocolaty. Smooth porter but otherwise a bit meh, not Olutpaja's best brews.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, mid sized head. Peppery calvados aroma with some coffee and dark chocolate. Fairly dry with near full body and firm, rounded mouthfeel. Apricot brandy coffee and mild chocolate. Warming bitter finish. Elegant and brandyish.

Keg @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Poured slightly unclear and golden in color. Orange fruity hops with Mosaic like blackcurrant notes pushing through. Light bitterness finishes off. Nice!

From keg @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Poured pitch black in color. Lots of licorice, malts, some oaty sweetness, light coffee and roasted malts. Finish is long with growing bitterness.

Smell of roasted malt, faint chocolate. Dark brown colour, brown head. Aroma of roasted malt. Some artificial chocolate flavour and rubber. Lively carbon. Medium bitter with some sweetness.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Kontula, 20231005) The beer poured pale amber and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had herbalness, tart fruits, spiciness, ripe fruits and pine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were ripe fruits, tart fruits, herbalness, spiciness, floralness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A tasty and complex hoppy brew.

Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were ripe fruits, pine, resin, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. A clean and refreshing hoppy brew.
