Bottled. Dark copper colour, mediumsized white foamy/bubbly head. Strong sweet malty nose. Malty hoppy bitter flavour with vegetably notes (mostly peas). I prefer the IV versions of these beers...

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour with small bubbly head. Hoppy and malty aroma with weak caramellish hints. Flavour is sweet malty and a bit hoppy. Hayish finish and aftertaste. Dry mouthfeel.

Best before July 2005 bottle from Juha, thanks! Dark auburn-brown, with chestnut highlights. Clear. Off-white head recedes quickly to cover. Smells of light roast, watered down toffee. Flavor is hoppy and has some vinous roasted barley notes. Finsihes with dry roasted notes, perhaps peanuts and/or hazelnuts. Good amount of hops bitterness, though little hops flavor, unfortunately. Medium to medium-light body.

2005 bottle from Juha, thanks! Light gold-yellow body, clear. Small amount of bubbles rising and yet a large white head is formed and is very well-retained. Smells of honey, some sweatiness, bit of wet hay. Begins with light honeyish malt and some hops bitterness that is felt on the back of the throat. Sweet honey finish, light herbs, perhaps. No flaws, or very few. Low hops apparency overall, medium-light body, but not watery or thin at all. Low carbonation. Could stand to be a good deal more crisp on the end. Retronasal has hay, herbs, some minerals.

Bottled. Clear yellow with small white head. Strong malty aroma with hints of hops. Strong bitterish flavour sweet finish. Aftertaste is weak but bitter. Added under wrong beer, thanks for pointing it out sayravai.

Tapped@HBF2005 (as Talvikuohu). Brown colour, beige foamy head. Sweet fruitish aroma with a bit of hoppy bitterness. Very dry and sticky palate, flavour is earthy and bitter. I prefer Tumma Kuohu and Vaalea Kuohu.

Tapped. Golden coloured, foamy small white head. Weak malty nose with hints of hops. Malty/grassy/hayish flavour. Before the biggest hay flavour there is a sweet fruity peak. Pretty dry finish and good carbonation level. A bit boring though.

Dark bronze color with good foamy off-white head. Malty and metallic, slightly roasted aroma. Roasted with lots of toffee and coffee notes. Bitter hoppy finish. (5/4/7/3/13 3.2)

Copper brown, big creamy off-white head. Mainly skunky nose. Good hoppy bitterness, toffee sweetness makes this a bit unbalanced - otherwise this would be an excellent for a pils! (3/4/7/3/12 2.9)
