Bottled. Hazy golden colour with particles floating around, huge fluffy/creamy white head, leaving a lot of lace. Aroma is spices, zest, some yeast, malts and even a bit wheaty hints. Flavour is yeast, caramel malts, spices, zest, white bread and some earth. A lot of flavours mixing togehter, some do well, some do make it seem unbalanced. Still, I do like the weirdness in it, and it’s not bad, even though it’s a bit out of balance.

Bottled. Hazy dark reddish/brown colour with mediumsized beige creamy head, lacing. Aroma is mud, butter, caramel and some spices. Flavour is toffee, butter and spices along with a salted licorace and some roast. Aftertaste is spices and caramelly malty. Alcohol shows only in the aftertaste as a burning sweet feeling in the back of the mouth. A bit watery palate.

Thick light-brownish head over opaque brown beer with some orange reflections. Vegetable nose - fatty acids? Malt underneath, and some dark malts included, but this vegetable-greenery aroma (maybe a whiff of pineapple and spices too) completely dominates. Thin soup in the mouth. This time the vegetable impression stretches to what I fear is coriander. It is not outspoken however, and still vegetable in character. A bit of sourness, but more than probably the wheat. Very thin, which is all the more strange as the dark malts suggest fuller body. Oh dear. I’m not a fan of the Groningse brews, I’m afraid. I hope that once they have really their own brewery running, it might better.

For the record, my bottle claims 5% ABV only Huge, vanishing off-white head over old gold beer. Vanilla and frangipane, initially a bit oppressive nose, later toasted notes, very malty, more than just pale malt. A bit grassy. Pineapple flavour, a bit grassy, and further a jumble of malts. Light to medium bodied, not empty. The toasted malts leave a long lingering flavour. Strange beer. It’s got some top-fermenting streaks, but I’m still convinced this is bottom-fermented, really. And brewed in Germany.

Huge yellowish head over hazy yellow-greenish beer, amber shot. Very creamy nose, as well as something toasted. Yeast-toned, with some fruity (citrus) and spicey (nutmeg) notes. Quite toasted and sweet taste, pretty little fruitiness, certainly for a Weisse. There’s a faint impression of wheat retronasal, but no real sourishness. Rather dull. Medium bodied, wheat slickness, fizzy carbonation. Dull, even for a Weisse. Just who brews this, then? Txs, Dean.

Bottled. Golden hazy colour with small white head. Aroma is caramel, hops and not much else. Flavour is caramel malts and hops. Aftertaste is grassy, slightly roasted malts and cold coffee. A very weird mix, but still, though lots of things in it, it feels very watery.

Bottled. Dark hazyish brown colour, small white head. Aroma is weak salty hops. Flavour is hops, malts and very flat. No real aftertaste. Not very exciting.

Bottled. Hazy amber, rich airy head. Bread aroma. Fairly sweet with medium body and a pleasant dough flavour. Rather fruity with low hop rate and almost no bitterness. Unadventurous, but pretty good.

Bottled. Hazy copper colour, minimal head. Aroma of metal and lingonberries. Sweet and light body, lightly fruity with unpleasant notes of blood. Very low bitterness.

Near gushing to huge off-white fine head, not stable, over hazy greenish-golden beer. Some coriander-like spicing, dull grain & wheat, overtly citrus, lemon(zeste). No clove, no banana, no orange - German?? Dull, sof-sweet taste; some human sweat, something slightly burning. Faint mandarine juice, but very, very dull. Wheat slickness, slightly burning MF at the end. Ultra-dull white. One from a great batch given by Dean.
