Tap at HBF 2016, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy brown with large white head. Aromas and flavors: Sweetness, caramel, resiny, hops and malts. Very typical beer made at Hopping Brewsters.

(Keg at HBF2016) The beer poured brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had pine and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, cough mixture, malts, hops and bitterness. Afteraste was hoppy, sweet, malty and bitter. A boozy sweet mess.

Draught @ HBF 2016. Pours dark orange with a tiny head. Aroma of caramely malts, resin, toffee, syrup and candy. Taste is sweet, malty and caramely with loads of toffee, hints of resin and pine. Finish is sweet, sticky and caramely malty with loads of toffee and pine. Quite sweet and malty. A bit unbalanced.

Tap at HBF2016. Opaque black color, small brownish head. Vegetably chilli aroma, roasted malts. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Roasted malts, heavy vegetably and spicey chilli burn. A bit too chillish.

Smell of mango, hops, spruce. Deep brown colour, high beige head. Aroma of spruce, earth, hops, grass, leaves. Bitter. Semi-sharp carbon, dry palate. Could be more fresh.

Bottled (from Alko Keskusta, Vaasa). Hazy deep amber colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is fruity, some mild leathery and toasted notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, some mild toasted notes. Nice mellow bitterness in the finish.

Draft @ Brewdog, Helsinki. Pours dark with receding tan head. Herbal aroma. Taste is herbal, spicy, roasted malts, chocolate with a light chili kick on the finnish finish. Considering I don’t often like chili beers this isn’t bad.

A dark, slightly orange beer, a head is small and blond. Aroma has sweet fruitness that has notes of fruit candies, some citrusfruits and pine. Taste is more traditional than aroma, herbal-pine, some citrusfruits, medium- bitterness that is quite long. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Slightly too messy and not fresh enoug. Decent.

Tap at Mullikka, Helsinki. Originally rated 20160129. Colour is almost black with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, some lactose, some coffee and roasted malts. Quite nice body.
