Bottle. Color: Very dark ruby, long lasting dense beige head. Taste: A pretty strange and sticky combination of roasted malt, brown sugar, yellow fruit, lightly hints of red fruit and some kind of herbs. Only little bitterness. Like the last rater this beer also reminds me of cough syrup, and that's not a pre when you're tasting a beer... Medium body. When tasting a winter stout I expect more body and more warmth / booze.

Bottle 7.2% abv at home. Black with nice light brown head that leaves a fizzy layer. Some coffee, chocolate, toffee, light licorice and some herbs in the finish. There’s a bit of fresh fruit too. Medium sweet and bitter. Over edium bodied with a bit creamy feel. Maybe they improved the recipe? I think this is quite a nice strong porter.

0.33 l bottle from ’De Bierboutique’ at 6.0% abv, best before April 2017. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, very dense, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity and a bit resiny aroma of mango, passion fruit, some honey and a touch of pine. Sweetish, moderately fruity taste of orange jam, mango, some honey and shy hints of pine, followed by a rather short, slightly bitter finish. Almost medium-bodied, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable, refreshing IPA but also quite tame and a bit thin.
