Hazy orange color, small white head. Wheaty, some orange. Light-bodied. Citrus-fruity, piney, evident wheaty-banana notes. This combination doesn’t work so well.

Canned (from K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Yellowish golden colour with a small white head that vanishes rather quickly. Aroma is apple, some sourish wood as well as some mild vanilla and herbal notes. Flavour is tart apples, some wood, very mild sugar as well as some nice resiny notes. Actually for once Saimaa surprised me with a good project.

Bottled. A hazy brwon beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, smoke, flowers, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of smoke, roasted malt, and straw, leading to a dry smokey finish.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a huge off white head. Aroma is tarish and roasted malty. Smoked, mild acidic hard roasted. Bitter, dry and smoked far finish.

(Keg at Bruuveri, 20131213) This beer should be under Saimaan Panimo instead of Bruuveri. The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted long. Aroma had spices, fruitiness and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, spices, malts, grass and bitterness. Afteraste was spicy, grassy and bitter. A nice spicy wheat ale. A suprsingly solid brew from Saimaa.

22.11.13 Can 500ml K-Isolinna. Clear golden, slighlty amber color, good white head, lace. Grassy, fresh hoppy aroma but also some sticky berryish not so pleasant aromas. Light bodied. Berryish flavors then harsh bitterness. In the aftertaste some piney notes. One can is enough.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour and a small white head. Malts and some grass can be found in the aroma. Average sweetness and mild bitterness in the taste. Thin body and texture, soft carbonation.

Tap@Bruuveri Hazy orange color, good creamy off-white head. Musty, fruity aroma, some overriped fruits. Medium-bodied. Creamy palate, overriped peach in the thinnish flavor (for this ABV). Sweetish and a bit messy IPA.

Can (from K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Golden colour, small fluffy off-white head. Aroma is grains, some mild floral notes along with some slight skunky notes. Flavour is grainy mild floral notes along with quite strong metallic notes as well. Utterly bad, and quite much the opposite of the commercial bullshit description on the can.
