500ml can, thanks to Finn. Shared with Finn Arvid. Pale golden body with a typical wheat haze. Loose white head. Weizen aroma with a good touch of coriander. Sweet, ripe banana in flavour with coriander and a backdrop of citrus. Ordinary and on the average level of the style (Tromsø, 22.09.2012).

Can: Golden, smaller stable foamy layer, sweetish malty-bready nose with a certain bitterness; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodoed; slightly hoppier in the sweetish-malty finish. Not so bad…

Boks 0,5l fra Kilpishalli. Drukket i heimen 13 Aug 12. Lysegulbrun med et luftig skum som dalte raskt. Litt uklar. Ikke pent å se på! Lemonade. God hveteølaroma: Tydelig sitrus & banan. Smaken det samme. Blir litt bitter etterhvert. Konklusjon: Pyton utseende men akseptabel smak.

33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 16.10.2010
Aroma has some alcohol, berries and hints of metal. Flavour has some fusel‐like alcohol, solvent, roasted malt, berries and hints of brown sugar. Unfortunately one of the worst Abbey Dubbels I’ve had. Hope they can do better at Saimaa.

Bottled at SOPP, Helsinki (as Saimaan Marsalkka Portteri). Near black, coarse head. Soapy aroma of cardboard and molasses. Sweet and full bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Heavy and syrupy with fudge and butter. Mid bitter finish.
