About
Saimaa Brewing Company on yksi Suomen vanhimmista yhä toiminnassa olevista pienpanimoista. Juuremme ulottuvat vuoteen 1995, jolloin ravintoloitsija Pertti Oksa aloitti oluenpanon Mikkelissä 200 litran ravintolapanimossa. Nykyinen, vuonna 2013 käynnistynyt panimomme mahdollistaa maanlaajuisen toiminnan ja kasvuvaraa riittää vielä tulevaisuuteenkin. Tällä hetkellä olemme tuotantomääriltämme Suomen kolmanneksi suurin pienpanimo.

Dark brown colour, steady beige head. Aroma is toasted and coffeish. Light to medium-bodied. Caramel, cocoa and coffee in the flavour. Sweetish and coffeish stout. Ok. Better than the most of their pale ales.

Tap at Bruuveri. A bit hazy golden colour, medium-sized white head. Light fruity nose. Light-bodied. Pale malty, sweetish fruity. Mellow, easy. Not harsh like typical Saimaa pale ale.

Can 500ml (KSM Kampus)
Golden, slighlty hazy colour, good white head and lace. Light fruity grainy aroma, not really typical Saaz. Light-bodied. Harsh and grainy flavour. Typical Saimaa house flavour. With few extra 0.1%:s not as watery as their "III-lagers" but flavour is similar.

Can 5.0% abv. A light yellow, medium hazy, a head is blond and quite big. Aroma has maltyness, grass and hint of aromatic flowers. Taste has maltyness, grass, some aromatic notes, nicely strong bitterness. Medium bodied. Unfiltered beer from Saimaa, and now it feels better than usually the harsh beers from them. Nicely aromatic and good level of bitterness.

50cl can. Poured amber color, thick off white head. Caramel malty nose and flavor. Some breadyness, light metallic notes at first. Mild harshness in finish. Ok with food.

A bit hazy orange colour, small steady white head. Tropical fruits, grass in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Tropical fruits, citrus. Less harsh than the most of Joker Hops. But still too lame.

Smell of caramel, roasted malt. Very dark brown colour, small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, sugar. Some mämmi. Sweet with some roasted bitterness. Lively soft carbon. Easy to drink.

A black beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has strong coffee, roastiness, some red berries and caramel malts. Taste has coffee and roastiness, balancing maltyness, also some bitterness. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Lots of strong coffee that propably works for the coffee lovers. Quite simple.
