50cl from Stockmann Herkku, Helsinki. Pours clear amber with a modest, off-white head. Mild grainy aroma with notes of caramel and hints of spices. Medium sweet with rather low flavour intensity and ditto bitterness.

September 2006: RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting. Golden colour, low head. Moderately hoppy aroma with grassy notes. Fairly clean malty flavour with some caramel and tolerable hops. Average.

The flavour is somewhat better, malts and a slight fruitiness, moderate hops. December 2017: 330 ml bottle, from Alko Karigasniemi. ABV is 5.9%, 40 IBU. Malts are Vienna, Red Ale and Crystal. Hops are Magnum, Perle, Centennial, Cascade, Citra and Styrian Goldings. Cloudy reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. The malty aroma is somewhat unfresh, notes of caramel. The flavour is also slightly unfresh, noticeable hops, but the beer appears unbalanced and uninteresting.
