Best before 04/24, from the sterk, Amsterdam. Opening and tasting this can at home, not the Einstein genious genious, even though, it was for me an average ipa, really malty, cereal, dry, mineral, citrus, orange, some tropical note, bitter, 24.09.24, at Epalinges

From the sterk Amsterdam. Tasting this can two days ago, relax, at home, during the night. In my point of view, it was not my favourite tripel, unbalanced, not bad at the beginning, not so good and metalic at the final, boozy, fruity, malty,bitter. 06.06.2024

Rate 3.6, can coming from the sterk, Amsterdam, during one of my trip there. On the balcony yestetday, at night, perfect. A classical Belgian ale, best before 04/24 smooth and malty, not so sweet for the style,fruity, boozy, a bit rough, bitter. 16.08.2024

Best before 2023, opening the can, yesterday, at home, relax, after the meal. From the Sterk, Amsterdam. For me, it was a good experience, tasty and subtle saison, maltym fresh malt, wheat, note of white grape, not too sweet for the style, sugar, warm.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is malty with caramel, herbal hops, rotten fruits, and some unpleasant notes of vegetables. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Overcarbonated and sweetish with some off-flavours, not good.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is sweet caramel malt with toffee, dried fruits, suggestions of dark & red fruits, rich caramel. Flavour is sweet with a decent bitterness, booze is there but not too pervasive. Body is slightly above medium. Lacks a little refinement, but it's a fairly pleasant Barley Wine.

Bottle at Stadscafé Het Refter, Zwolle. Aroma is fruity hops with with citrus, tropical fruits, orange, lactose, dextrose. Sweetish flavour, moderate bitterness. Body is medium. Okay IPA, bit simple, not a fan of the effect of the lactose in this beer.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. As Brouwerij De School Strafwerk. Aroma is estery with malt, sugary fruity notes, yeast, sweet orange and banana. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bitterness. Body is medium. Pleasant Tripel.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is piney hops with malt, pine resin, some caramel, grapefruit, touch of orange. Flavour is fairly sweetish with a decent medium bitterness. Body is medium. On the sweet side, but I dig the piney hop and malt aroma in this era of haze uniformity.
