Description

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB 17 03 17, large sample. Slight hazy golden to orange color, medium rocky head. Aroma has slight fruity hop, bit spicy yeast, some caramel, tea. Medium bitterness, quite some caramel, bit cardboard and yeastiness. Bit metallic bad aftertaste. Malt dominates and I dont get a lot of hop. Getting better after a while though. Another typical example of a Dutch IPA.

Bottle at De Paas. Pours medium to dark brown with a small short lived tan head. Aroma of lightly smoked malts, coffee, veggies, toffee and sweet malts and caramel. Far to much green coffee going on here. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Backlog from 2014/11/09. And again from tap at De Paas, 2015/02/11. And again from tap at Proeflokaal Arendsnest; Gerookte trekdrop, en daar hou ik toevallig enorm van. Backlog from 2015/03/22.

Melkig perzik. Backlog from 2015/05/28. --- Beer merged from original tick of Blond on 09 Nov 2014 at 20:07 - Score: 7.
