33cl Bottle at Jopenkerk. So smoked porters are listed as porters, not as smoked anymore? Almost black colour, beige head. Aroma of soft campfire smoke, leather, earth, dark fruits, some roasted malts. Flavour is sweet, quite fruity, dark fruits, some red fruits, soft smoke, hint of leather and chocolate, soft bitter roast finish. Medium-bodied at best. Would have liked some more roast, but this was a tasty treat nonetheless.

Bottled from Lekker Bier, BB 03 2015, medium sample, served in a tulip glass. Dark brown color, medium lasting creamy brown head. Aroma of some roasted malts, bit coffee, some smoke going towards peat, slight wood, dark chocolate. Bit sweet in taste, bit bitter. Chocolate and roasted malts are blended together nicely with the smoke, which is not too dominant and which didnt make the beer very dry. Plenty of sweetness left to compete with. Smooth and almost creamy mouthfeel. Soft carbonation, medium bodied. Wonderful beer!

Bottle shared @ Camping Ratebeer. Opaque hazy yellow to orange color, small off-white head that leaves fair lacing. A bit soapy aroma but still it’s quite nice. Taste lightly malts, nicely hoppy, citrussy, but also a bit soapy. Quite bitter. Decent.
