Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen. Robijnrood helder bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag. Aroma van mout en hout. Smaak van mout, kersen en houtig. Nasmaak is iets bitterer.

Donkerbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is vrij zwak met weinig diepgang, licht bitterzoet met iets van anijs, wat drop en geroosterd brood. Ik heb veel betere winterbieren gehad.

Kerstbier Festival. Hazy orange golden beer with a white head. Aroma of herbal and tart malt, biscuit. Taste of caramelized malt, biscuit malt, grains, spices.

Bij een familie reünie als cadeau gekregen op 16-09-2023. Aangekocht door een Waalse/Luikse collega van de schenker.
Thuis voorgesteld aan mijn smaakpapillen op 12-11-2023.
Peak Blond wordt gebrouwen door Belgium Peak Beer, de hoogste brouwerij van Belgie. De Signaal van Botrange en de Baraque Michel liggen er niet ver vandaan. De brouwerij werd in 2016 opgericht door Victor Ernst en Gauthier Demolin.
PEAK BLOND is een helder goud geel bier dat een normale hoeveelheid wit schuim aanmaakt in een moussige vorm. Het blijft ook sterk aan je glaswand kleven en blijft tamelijk stabiel. Op het eind heb je nog een fijn dun laagje op je bier staan. Je ziet een normale hoeveelheid CO2 belletjes van een normale grootte naar omhoog parelen.
HET AROMA:
Zoetig, hopbitterig, mout, florale toets.
DE SMAAK:
Zoetig, licht hopbitterig, mout, florale tint.
HET MONDGEVOEL:
Medium body, lichtjes bitterdroog, een romige textuur en een prikkelend koolzuurgas.
DE NASMAAK:
Zoetig, heel kleine pompelmoestint, mout. Licht bitterig en een kleine droge tint. De (weinig bittere) tint van de hoppen vloeit lang uit.
HET TOTAALGEVOEL:
Een harmonieus bier.
HET VERDICT:
Een blondje dat er mag zijn, leuke doordrinker met op het eind een leuk niet te bitter tintje van de hoppen.

0.33l bottle thanks to Lore. Hazy golden body with a white head. Aroma and taste of sugar syrup, bready malts, orange zest and even some licorice. The body is thicker than the average tripel. The finish has some floral hop bitterness to it. Correct one, enjoyable.

opalescent golden to bright orange colour, moderate sized dense off-white head; aroma of grainy, dried apricot, biscuity and some pear peel notes; taste is the same with some hoppy bitterness, as well as malty notes; good one; many thanks, Benjamin!

HUGE GUSHER ALERT!!!
Less than 1/3rd of the beer was left in the bottle after opening, when being poured it produced a huge head, and even while pouring the foam just kept gushing out of the bottle. Cloudy orange beer, a lot of chunks in the glass, small off-white head, unstable, falls down quickly, a bit adhesive. Aroma: clearly infected, brett notes, funky, a bit herbal, sourish impression. Slightly fruity in there as well. MF: very lively carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, a little fruity, infected, bitter touch, lots of brett notes, more funky. Aftertaste: more brett still, bitter, funky, hoppy, all brett, and in all honesty, it’s not even a bad beer, it tastes a bit like an aged Orval, just not what you’d expect (or want) from a Tripel beer. The finish is a bit dirty though, too funky, not that good.

Bottle from a Durbuy bottle shop. Hazy amber, stable, frothy, tan head. Aroma of apple peel, pear, plum, brioche, peanut. Taste has sweetish apple & plum in a brioche- & rye-like malt body; bitter blood orange peel. Herbal & earthy hoppy finish with dried citrus peel and light roasted malts. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Like a combination of classic Pale Ale with Belgian Blonde. Pleasant surprise.
