Bottle at home, poured into a pint glass. Aroma is floral hops, biscuit bready malts, some over rip fruit in the taste, mostly overly sweet in the finish, cloying.

Bottle, at mum and dads house, from Callans 17/01/14. Clear golden with a good sized white head that dissipates then retains as a covering. Nose is pale malts, grass laden, cereals, hint of citric fruit, clean aroma, herbal leanings. Taste comprises pale malt, light orange, straw, lemon rind, bread dough, touch of hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a little prickle, dry grassy bitterness in the finish. Simple, clean, drinkable affair. I’d have this down as a pale lager or a pils, not a golden blonde. The info on the bottle is vaguely amusing if a little OTT !

Interesting beer. Not quite sure I would have labeled it an IPA however, more of an ESB flavor to it. Color is tremendous though, unfiltered orangey brown color, very inviting. Nose is bready malts, some wheat, maybe dark tea too. Taste is initially very tea-like with a little piney apricot hop notes. Beautiful finish. Nice one.

Draught. Murky orange with a thin head. Light bready aroma. Flavour is musky hop, sweet caramel malt on a dusty dry finish.

Bottle. Hazy yellow with a thin head. Aroma is dusty malt. Flavour is dull malt, a little watery citrus on a dry finish. Not bad but a bit dull.
