Vibrant amber, but there's slight haze. Thin head. Herbaceous hops, sweet and bright biscuity malts on the nose. Moderate bitterness, and lots of that biscuit sweetness, veering a bit towards caramel. Light fruitiness, a bit of a marmaladey note I associate with Fuller's yeast, although I think it's just the character of the hops. Dried apricots and those sorts of notes.

Can, from a random store in YLW. Dull yellow colour, with a frothy head. I like the nose on this quite a bit - a happy melange of pomelo, papaya and rambutan. Low bitterness, although it's enough for balance. The sweet malts come through quite clean, and then there's a touch of yeast in the finish but also a fair bit of orange. The balance is good, the muddy appearance not at all an indicator of the palate.

Modest muddy orange body and minimal foam, very faint caramel on the nose but seems clean. Flavour is more modest muddy malt, chewy hazelnut. Slightly cloying sweetness on the back end. Pretty mediocre.

Pours muddy brown, minimal head. Weak biscuit on the nose. Flavour is more weak biscuit, slight smokiness, chewy molasses. Modest carbonation. Pretty subdued, hardly memorable.

Very good foam, nice cloudy orange body, large carbonation bubbles. Strong sweet hops on the nose, pine, hints of clove. Flavour is good piney hops, mellow malt notes. Mouthfeel is a little too watery, could use more oiliness and crispness. Still rather enjoyable.

Good foam on a clear yellow body, soft sweet fruity hops on the nose that really should be stronger. Flavour is some sweet hops, some bitter hops, but it all comes across rather boozy. Oily mouthfeel and that alcohol lingers, odd for only six and a half percent. Seems disjointed, needs more attention to detail.

Nice foam on a weak clear coppery body, lots of lemon and lime on the nose... maybe that's the spruce tip, but it doesn't smell right, more like Mountain Dew than anything else. Flavour is lots of grain, some lemon, slight grass maybe if I think about it real hard. Finish is nicely dry. Seems to underdeliver what's advertised.

Nice yellow body and very good white foam, earthy pineapple and piney hops on the nose. Flavour is soft pineapply hops, rather subtle and lacking character. Okay dry mouthfeel. Passable but hardly interesting.

The aroma is soft honey with vague grai, has cloudy gold and kind of a bad tinny foam going on. Flavour is all sugary malt and tin. Mouthfeel is more cloying tin, bad carbonation, at least they served it to me cold. This is incredibly mediocre.

On tap at Broken Hill in Nelson, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle stone fruits, citrus hops, and biscuity malt. Flavour is rather chalky, with some dank hops, biscuity malt, and chalk. Too chalky and muffled. Meh.
