Bottled in Shenzhen, Guangdong. Pale golden, faint head. Light ricey aroma. Dryish with slight paper and glue. Light bodied with surprisingly crisp mouthfeel. While it has a definite adjunct character it remaisn fairly drinkable due to it’s crisp dryness and the shynessof the off-flavours. Don’t drink this if you look for a good beer, drink it if you want a cheap beer to quench your thirst.

Bottled in ShenZhen, GuangDong. Pale yellow, quick fizzy head. Dryish and thin with hard primitive mouthfeel. Some stiicky syrup together with a lemony aluminium edge. No bitterness. Empty and barren, quite harsh to down, even though the off-flavours are reasonably under control.

Bottle. Clear very pale straw, no head. Pleasant somewhat hoppy aroma. Light body and carbonation. Not a lot of flavour, just a little grain / malt sweetness with a little balancing tartness. A very lightly flavoured beer, but not unpleasant - refreshing, but bland.

Bottle (in Xi’an). Clear golden, no head. Little aroma. Light body, medium carbonation. Not much flavour: some malt and a distinctly tangy / lemony foretatse, but no bitterness. It’s drinkable, but not good.

Crystal clear coloured body with an almost transparent coloured look and no head at all to speak of. Aroma of metal, corn, rice, sugar - and nothing too pleasant. Super-light bodied; Strong swetness up front fading to a light malty and cardboardie taste with nothing else following behind. Aftertaste shows cardboard, water and fake sugar - bad again. Overall, a very mild and not pleasing beer - good to drink in the midst of summer in Guangzhou, but aside from that - definitely a beer to pass on. My 33 cL can looked exactly like pictured on the side here on RateBeer. I sampled this can purchased at a small corner store in the ’mainland’ in Guangzhou, China on 21-January-2008.
