Brouwerij BBL (prev. Broederliefde)

Established in 2019
In november 2019 start hiervoor een crowdfunding. Helaas is deze crowdfunding niet succesvol, wat resulteerde in het verlies van de locatie aan de Markthof. Er wordt wel verder gebrouwen in de nieuwe brouwketel met grotere vergistingstanks, en ze gaan op zoek naar een nieuwe locatie.
In mei 2020 gaat de brouwerij naar een pand aan de Mon Plaisir in Etten-Leur.
In 2022 gaat de brouwerij in wisselende samenstelling verder. In oktober 2022 wordt de naam gewijzigd naar Brouwerij BBL. Maar ze brengen ook bieren uit onder de naam Gustura.

Bottle at home. Opaque black color, medium sized light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, chocolate, raspberries. Flavor is malts, dark malts, distant roast, raspberries, chocolate, pleasant flavor after the cherry stone and raspberry flavors wear off, some chocolate notes. Overall though, hmm not really nice imo.

Black with creamy head. Deep almost savoury taste of coffee. Nicely bitter. Silky texture. Aftertaste has a note which is more like fresh coffee beans.

Can. Gusher. Hazy pale yellow colour with thin lacy head. Freshly cut grass. Lime juice and zest. Quite bitter. Good flavour, shame it was a gusher.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Het Biermoment. Dutch brewery #553. Dark brown to black with a thin off-white head. Raisin, dark caramel and plum aroma. Sweet taste with a boozy sweet finish. Quite thin and sligthly harsh but overall decent.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Dark brown color with a dark autumnal red-brown glare. No head. Aroma is malts, raisins, leaves. Flavor is malts, bitters, leaves. Hmm no, not great. Too thin texture wise as well. Mwah.

Black with thin head. Very intense aroma of heavily roasted, fresh coffee. Nice coffee taste too. Good level of bitterness.

Black with dark creamy head. Subtle raspberry notes in the aroma and flavour. Loads of powdery cacao bitterness. Silky, full mouthfeel.

Bottle. Color: Very dark ruby to copper, no head. Aroma: Caramel fudge, Bourbon, vanilla. Taste: Caramel, boozy Bourbon, vanilla. Over medium sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Full body, low carbonation. Missing the Barleywine. Almost completely overwhelmed by the Bourbon. And missing some more carbonation. Not bad but no topper.

Fles bij de lokale AH. Donkergeel bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is bitterzoet en kruidig met iets van banaan en citrus.

Fles van de lokale Albert Heijn. Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van rozijnen, wat anijs, drop en kandij. Heel goed bier, als het nog iets meer body zou hebben had het echt een topper geweest.
