Bottle at Monday Club Zurich. A sour stout and well done, very nice. Lighter nose than one might expect. Very nice!

Courtesy of Philippe (Bov); the bottle is about one year old
It pours a black color, with a generous creamy head. Mild aroma of roasted malts. The body is lean, there is a mild flavor of toasted malt, toasted nuts, with a very light sourness that adds some dynamicity; it never exceeds in a too ashy side. Correct bitterness. Balanced, enjoyable.

50 cL bottle, courtesy of Bov. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is butterish and light malty. Crisp malty, light bitter flavoured and yet also a vgue diacetyl presence. Bitter and light malty finish - with a lasting vague butterish note - disturbing.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Dark brownish colour, small beige head. Aroma is sweet raisins, malts and some wood. Flavour is wooden, sour and slightly acidic fruity. Some slightly roasted notes are also to be found. Wouldn’t recognize this one as a schwarzbier...

Bottled
Nut brown color, small off-white head. Caramelly, lightly toasted aroma. Acidic, toasted malty, a bit caramelly-sticky mouthfeel. Grassy hops in the aftertaste.

Bottled. Dark but brown, creamy head. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied, Very fruity with artificial cloying flavour of syrup, toffee and molasses as well as bread and saccharine. No bitterness. I suggest a name change to "Beer of the Drain".

Golden color; persistent head. Light aroma, but with some nice hop flowers. Quite good body, but most of all a very good hopping; strong end, quite aromatic.

Hazy blond color. Quite pleasant malt and hop aroma. A bit dry in the front, sweet in the middle and bitter at the end; a fruity touch (apricots). Quite good, but maybe too high carbonation and low maturation. Strong, long bitterness.
