0.5l flip-top bottle (#105) in bern. pours an opaque deep brown with a big steady beige head and a nice lacing. aroma of spruce and grass. flavour of caramel, nuts, spruce. bittersweet finish, chalky mouthfeel, a bit thin body.

0.48l flip-top bottle in bern (#108). pours a hazy golden with a small head. aroma of hay, bread, oatmeal. flavour of honey, biscuit, almonds. too sweet.

Bottle at Erzbierschof MC. Pours reddish amber with a big head. Aroma is piney, forest, some grass. Body is light and super crisp and fizzy, some fruit behind and a bit sweet. Rather thin. Okay. Added as Amber Ale because this clearly is not a red IPA in any sense.
