Vom Faß im NBeer Pub, Peking. - Dunkelorange, trüb; sparsamer Schaum. - In der Nase prominenter Ingwer. - Antrunk säuerlich-herb mit deutlicher Ingwernote. Die Säure beißt sich etwas mit dem karamelligen Malz. Im Hintergrund leicht pilzige, etwas muffige Herbe. Mild rezent, vollmundig. Stark holzig-krautiger Abgang mit Noten von Menthol. - Unrund, ruppig, zu sauer: nur schwer genießbar. Dazu noch die aufdringliche, zu laute Musik im NBeer Pub ...

Bottled at NBeerPub, Beijing, thanks Yinhai! Lightly hazy pale yellow, minimal head. Tart nose with lingonberry and lactic acid. Dry and citric with light body and crisp mouthfeel. Mildly lactic, refreshing and easy going. Traditional style Berliner weisse, but with a Beijing twist.

Keg at NBeerPub, Beijing. Clear pale golden, minimal head. Tart, citric apple aroma. Bone dry with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Citric acid and tart Granny Smith. Refreshing, but lacking depth.

Keg at NBeerPub, Beijing. Clear amber, small head. Distinct ginger aroma. Mid sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Zesty and gingery with bready malt. Low bitterness. Edgeless and refreshing. Another competent creation from NBeer, albeit in a style I’m not particularly fond of.
