750ml bottle. Murky, beige golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Bretty, funky, minimally fruity aroma, bretty bubblegum notes, a touch of prune. Taste is dry, tart-ish, minimally bretty, mild funk, a cautious touch of prune, a lactic sauerkraut touch. Very nice, mild funkiness from the house yeast strain, could bear more prune flavours to emphasise a specific character.

75cl bottle from Biermuda, Bochum. Sour fruity beginning. Smooth with a mild carbonation, more lemon-sourness than lactic sourness there. Highly carbonated, not very smooth, more on the citric side. Quick disappearing mild aftertaste. Nice but not too round or deep.

0,75 l bottle shared with Kristall-König. Unclear pale yellow. Small head. Mid sour fruitieness. Pale grain. Short sour sequence, then more like a sparkling wine. Nice but inconspicuous.

0.75 l bottle from ’Biermuda’, best before September 2017. Slightly hazy, straw yellow with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, sourish-funky, floral, slightly grassy and a bit fruity aroma of hay, lemon peel, barnyard and some gooseberry. Moderately sweet, slightly sourish, rather funky, floral and moderately fruity-grassy taste of lots of hay, wheat, some lemon peel and a touch of gooseberry, followed by a short, slightly tart, grassy and rather dry finish. Thin to medium body, fairly effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Very nice session stuff, highly drinkable and refreshing, good balance between tartness, some residual sweetness and brett funk. Maybe a bit watery though but that comes with the low abv I guess. Promising start for an interesting newcomer!
