Bottle at home, but if a gusher. Hazy golden with big fluffy off white head. Since this gushed all over my table it now smells like French farmhouse cider and lambic in here. Aroma of bitter herbs, grassy, light funk, a bit of burnt rubber, lemon, creamy grains, light caramel, cane sugar, fresh baguette, apricot, plastic, cream. Medium sweet, solid medium bitter and over light sour. Medium bodied with creamy feel and soft and creamy carbonation, but even though it’s soft there’s a lot of it. Very nice, would be really outstanding without the burnt rubber notes. Kemker strikes again.

Bottle. Color: Reddish amber, yellow-ish off-white head with nice lacing. Aroma: Malt, fruity, Brett yeast funk. Taste: Light to moderate sweet and sour, very light bitterness. Bread, grain, wild yeast funk notes, subtle fruity notes. Can't exactly define the fruity notes, grape-like, maybe some sweetish and very lightly sour berries. No pronounced flavors, yet nicely balanced and pretty complex wild ale. I love the Bretty touch in this beer. Nice one.

750ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mild, herbal-spicy and funky, unspecific fruity aroma, hints of rosemary and mint, white grapes, dissolved grape sugar, floral overtones. Taste is tart-ish, slightly dry, herbal spicy, minimally funky, fruit and sugary sweet, initially with dry notes of mint, and a touch of woodruff, later with a touch residual sweetness, hints of grape sugar and a touch of rosemary. Very nice composition that works well in the nose but reveals signs of unconnectedness and disharmony in taste, a predominance of minty dryness at least. (This might be / might have been different at different stages as Kemker beers change considerably with ageing.)

0,375 l bottle from Getränkefeinkost, Münster. Dark golden in the glass, big steady white head. Very lively carbonation. Geuze style smell. Taste starts with a dry tart sourness. Mit sour fruity, with a malty background. Really nice drinking and highly recommended stuff.

Bottle @Luppolo Station (Rome). Gialla acida, torbida, schiuma bianca media e persistente. Al naso note citriche, erbacee, di stalla, cuoio, quasi una geuze. In bocca è acida decisa, con spunto sorprendente, citrica e secca sul finale. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Che birra!

750ml bottle(s). Hazy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Herbal, funky and lactic aroma, notes of rosemary, thyme, juniper and other herbs, a touch of apricot and mirabelle, citrusy hints of lemon and orange peel, mandarine, lemon yoghurt, some brett, late caraway overtones. Taste is dry, tart, herbal, funky, lactic and citric, bretty, notes of rosemary and thyme, juniper, a touch of apricot and mirabelle, zesty notes of lemon, orange, mandarine, hints of lemon yoghurt. Fresher examples displayed a more intense herbal profile with yellow stone fruit addendum, cellared bottles showed developments in an overall tart and zesty citrusy direction slightly disguising the herbal profile and almost completely outshining the yellow stone fruit. A great beer at all stages.
