Draught at brewpub. Frothy white fair mostly deminishng head. Yellow colour. Light malty aroma. Light bitter flavor but toy can sense that a special forrestplant (skovmærke-flowers) is added and it gives a special distickt citruslike flavor. that is really special and nice. Watery palate.

(On tap) Beautiful, cloudy, reddish colour with a small, dense and creamy, pink head leaving laces. Lightly tart, berry-like aroma. Rather light in body dominated by an almost alkaline dryness - never hiding the fruity freshness though. The finish is somewhat astringent. 040707

KØ07. Clear shiny chestnut colour. Small light brown head. Good maltiness, but its rough, sharp bitterness, puts me off.

From tap. Pours golden amber with nice off white creamy head. Aroma is liqourice, cane sugar, aroma hops and a lot of malt notes (malt malasse) in addition to a lot of cardemomme. Flavour that follows has all the same notes in a rather dry blend, plus a vague note of vanilla, going into a bitter finish and a soapy hops flavour.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours golden, hazy yellow with a creamy head. Aroma is much more fruity than the normal wheat. Flavour is wheat and ananas fruit. More dry than the ordinary wheat. Not overly wheaty but softly leveled off by the ananas flavour. Becomes a bit like a radler after a few sips, but wellbalanced. Very lovely on a sunshine day after biking around in the wood.

CBF07 sample from bottle. Pours amber golden. Aroma is sweet malty. Mouthfeel is fullbodied and carbonated. Flavour is sweet caramel and raisin. Finish reveals some alcohol and sweetness lingering long into the finish. I had to sample this from the stand NEXT to Skovlyst af CBF07, Skovlyst didn’t bring the bottle, and the stand next to them was not allowed to pour any Skovlyst beer, but a bit of talking convinced the nice people at All-Drinks/Øltorvet to give me a sample anyway, cheers!

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, deep amber with an off-white head. Distinct aroma of fruit and caramel. Quite full-bodied with a distinct caramel sweetness, fruit and a very warming alcohol. A bit too much on the sweet side for my palate, but otherwise a fine and potent brew. 120507
