Klare dunkelgelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, getreidiger, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, getreidig, leicht grasig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, auffallend dünner Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure.

Bottle. Unclear dark amber color with beige head. Aroma is fudgy grapes, booze, wood, caramel, figs. Taste is fudge, raisins, caramel, vanilla, wood quite thick. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Surprisingly nice!

Ein klassisches Helles, das etwas tiefgründiger als ein klassisches Helles kommt. Es lässt sich einfach und gemütlich trinken. Im Abgang etwas hopfig, aber nichts aufregendes. Kann man trinken, aber nicht allzu (über-)fordernd.

Bottle picked up from *actually forgot where I got this from. Consumed at home Attenkirchen, Saturday 29th February 2020 in the company of Baz, Jude, Karen and Stuart. We're listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul show on 6Music and for dinner tonight we've got Raclette. Pours hazy amber with a light filmy head. Really thick in the mouth, surprisingly easy drinking. Okay its a one trick pony but it's fine, boozyness perhaps, warming, sweetness. Good.

bottle from Kalea Bieradventskalender 2019, Austria edition. Slightly hazy golden yelow, with a mid-sized white ehad, fruity-resiny hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, malty background, fruity and resiny hops, shy herbal hints. Quite light, but well balanced and easy-drinking.

bereits vor einigen Jahren einmal getrunken, jetzt bekomme ich es wieder im Kalea-Bier-Adventkalender am 6.12.2019. Es is ein schön aromatisches Bierchen mit ausgewogener Hopfung, die aber mild rüberkommt und dadurch sehr gefällig ist. Kein übertriebenes Bier, aber durchaus erfreulich.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Rather weak and relatively expressionless, hoppy aroma without specific features. Taste is fruity hoppy, minimally diluted hints of peach, mandarine, melon, some mango, rather neutral malty basis; minimally watery passages. Nice taste, but the whole thing lacks intensity - too anaemic overall.

75cl bottle shared with Mark whilst brewing an apple saison. Thanks Kolschtrinker for this one. Pours a dulled hazy orange, off-white head. Big orange rind on the nose. Taste seems dominated by the orange rind, which seems a little over done, sweet caramel, some moderate coriander, more saison-like than a witbier. Perhaps this could've tasted a little different fresh.

Tap. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is herbal hops, grassy, crackery malts. Taste is grassy, herbal, quite bitter in the back. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Nice!

Clear straw yellow with a large white frothy head. Decent retention. Aroma: dust, wort, malt, metal. Light body. Taste: sweetish, cereals, faint grassy hop. Low to light bitterness. Not a great lager.
