(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Minimally grainy and papery malty aroma with grassy hops and a tinge of metal. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Malty and grassy hoppy taste with shy notes of cardboard; dry-ish, slightly bitter and grassy hoppy finish. 23.VIII.11

Bottle. Quite grassy nose on a bit of fat hay. Pale golden, low carbonation, white head. Dry grassy bittering hops on a grainy base. Medium body, sparkly mouthfeel. Herba finish, a bit edgy.

Bottled (BB 11/2009). Courtesy of bierkoning, tnx Edo! Golden color, small white head. Grassy and apple fruity aroma. Sweet maltyness with hints of green apple. Aftertaste has light butterness and grassy bitterness. Low carbonation. Despite of its name, this is not a märzen.

Bottled(330ml). -from Lidl somewhere in Wien. Yellow coloured, medium sized white head, grainy nose with touch of honey. Grainy, bready and light metallic with low hops presence and notes of corn. Short finish. Cheap and below average beer.

07/04 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured pale golden body with medium to smaller head. Lemony and grassy hops in aroma, dusty and grainy, but also typically eggy like most of the marzens are. Flavor is empty then, but what lies beyond that thin body is nothing but some eggy malts and maybe corn. Boring. Short and almost tasteless finish, as it could be expected. Not the typical Marzen, rather pale lager, which is crap anyway...

Bottle shared with heavy and ogivlado, courtesy of the latter (thanks!). Poured a pale yellow-golden body, somewhat big white head. Lame honeyish-eggy nose. Sweet eggy/sulphury malty taste, soft, some metal, almost no hop. Not as terrible as it sounds, but not good either.

Bottled(500ml). -Clear yellow coloured, soapy white head that went away fast, light alcoholic nose. Malty, bready and herbal with notes of green apples. Quite strong alcohol presence for beer with only 4.9%. Short bitter finish. Quite odd and not so good Märzen.

Bottled(500ml). -Very pale yellow coloured, small white head that went away fast, weak cereals bready nose. Watery with almost no aroma, some traces of malt, cereals and nothing else. Like Hungarian 3.0% beers.

The bottle looks like a cheap beer. The beer in the glass is very zippy, nice head. Starts mild, modest dry and hoppy. Finish metallically and too sourish, too unbalanced. There are better beers in Austria.
