On tap at 1516, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has a citrusy, floral hop character, and soft bready malt. Flavour has an invigorating hop expression—floral, citrusy and tropical fruits—with a soft bready malt underbelly. Clean and well-brewed. Solid.

11.12.2015: 0,25l on tap at the brewpub. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells grainy, bready, some tobacco, ok smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes quite bready, cereal, light tobacco, some grass, light herbs. finishes a bit dry with bread and grain notes. decent, typical lager, overall not very special though, a bit boring overall

Tastes ripe fruits, mango, pineapple, pines, tobacco. finishes lightly bitter with notes of mango, pinapple and piney notes. good stuff, by the looks and also the taste not super new england, more like a mix between westcoast and east coast IPA, pretty good none the less.

Smells smoky, roasty, earthy, tobacco, smoky, light marzipan, nutty. medium to full body, soft carbonation. tastes smoky, rather roasty, tobacco, earthy, smoky, light marzipan, nutty. finishes roasty bitter with notes of smoke, tobacco and marzipan. really good one, pretty dark to still call it a Märzen, leaning in the stout direction. Very enjoyable beer.

On tap at 1516 Wien, shared with Hrabren. Unclear amberish coloured, medium sized off-white head, caramel and light cheesy nose. Caramel, herbal and light cheesy with touch of coriander and discreet hibiscus. Odd milky touch in the finish. Quite messy.

Irgendwie bin ich bislang nie dazugekommen, den Schnitt 🔪hier zu trinken, zumal niemand weiß, welches Dunkles dafür verwendet wird (steht keins auf der Standart-Karte).
Es ist ein gutes Trinkbier, wobei die süße Malzigkeit 🥮 des Dunklen gut im hellen Bett 🛏️ aufgeht.
Nicht so cool wie die anderen Biere, aber ein netter Speisenbegleiter.

Der Robuste Porter 💂🏾, den uch zu meinen Kartoffelspalten 🥔, war das Bier an diesem Tag, das mich am wenigsten begeistern konnte. Es war äußerst intensic mit einem vollen, runden Körper, aber darin war ein Geschmack nach Rumtopf 🍯, dessen Rosinen-Aromen 🍇 nicht wirklich harmoniert haben.
Das ist natürlich Jammern auf hohen Niveau, aber.beim 1516er darf man sich das erlauben.
